Sacramento band Drug Apts is releasing their new album Clean Living Under Difficult Circumstances next month. The LP is a jarring, unhinged collision of garage punk and weirdo art rock, full of screaming and swirling psychedelic feedback. It drops on March 23rd from Mt. St. Mtn records.

Drug Apts got their name from “those Mid-Century Modern complexes scattered throughout Sacramento, with rows of palm trees out front and mock English names like Dorchester Court or the Royal Arms. Common features include: concrete stairs, prison-style walkways with dudes looking in your window every five minutes, moms beating their kids next door and cop car lights reflecting off the pool,” according to the band.
The band will be touring in support of the album. Included in their tour line up are dates with Tiki Dreamers which is another project of Tristan Tozer and Michael Thiemann of Drug Apts. Dates are below.
