A Nottinghamshire-based Welsh artist, Kim Myatt’s work is lovely, dark, and deep. They work mainly digitally, using Photoshop and a Wacom tablet. “I like to try and mimic the feel of traditional media with my paintings, but I enjoy the fact I can’t really break a painting with the digital medium,” Myatt tells TUBE. “My influences are vast and varied, but the one thing I want to accomplish with my work is to give the viewer and myself a form of escapism into a realm different from our own, even for a few moments.”
