The Sacramento Audio Waffle is no stranger to interruptions. After a five year hiatus, the Sacramento Audio Waffle returned to the Red Museum in 2018. The noontime show has gained a loyal following through showcasing not only noise artists from all over the Sacramento Valley and West Coast but new and exciting waffles every month.
If you were ever into collecting B-sides or bootleg albums, you would probably like this monthly series. A lot of splinter groups, alter-egos, solo and side projects find their way into the line-ups to try out new sounds. You can find well-toured artists sharing the stage with performance debuts. Such was the case with Syndrome and Major Tinnitus this month.
Hazardous air quality from surrounding wildfires forced organizers to abandon November’s Audio Waffle, but this month’s Audio Waffle #49 featuring Vol, Andrew Kaluzynski, Bryan Day, Syndrome, Major Tinnitus and eggnog inspired waffles took place this past Sunday without any interruption. Audio Waffle #50 will take place at The Red Museum on January 20th.
