Self-taught Italian artist Stefania Russo creates dark, emotional, horror-esque work. Russo is inspired by combining Gothic themes with everyday attitudes and behaviors to transform them with her surrealist personal style into what she calls “Dark Fairytales.” She’s also influenced by dreams and modern myths like Creepypastas. Currently, she works freelance, turning her work into illustrations and tattoo designs while also participating in art collectives like Momento Tea and the global project 78 Tarot.
