On March 24th, a small group of local high school students and volunteers saw their efforts to put on a Sacramento version of the March for Our Lives come to fruition. The rally and march, with an estimated 8,000 local citizens attended was an effort to bring attention to gun violence and to show solidarity with the victims of the Douglas Stoneman victims. Student speakers, Sacramento area educators and local politicians spoke to the assembled crowd who peacefully brought a message of hope for change to the California State Capital.
