A quarter of a century ago the garage jazz band Instagon bloomed in Orange County. Over the years, it went through a shifting line up of sometimes up to ten members and eventually relocated to Sacramento in 2005. Their anniversary show on February 2nd at Cafe Colonial celebrated twenty-five awesome years of free-form jazz with Instagon playing their hearts out with supporting local bands Sir Corduroy, Pierce and The Gals, and What Rough Beast.
