On December 15, 2017, Sacramento said goodbye to a hidden underground venue, Casa de Chaos. The venue was secretly located in a Sacramento basement and was a place where punks could be punks. Although the punk house has seemed to come to an end, many believe that a new one will soon rise up. The last show at Casa de Chaos consisted of bands; Year of the Fist, Spitting Roses, Killer Couture, Red Pills, Instagon, and Hatchet Job. TUBE. caught up with some members of the punk community at Casa de Chaos, and this what they had to say.

“Its been a good 15 years, kind of fulfilled my dream of owning/running a club. There’s never going to be anything like this again, but I’m okay with that. I’m going to miss the house, the people, and the community that came here.” -Mickie Rat (Resident at Casa de Chaos)

“These kind of shows are a lot more fun than a bigger club, you feel the emptiness in a big club if it’s not packed. ” -Ed Hunter
