Poppet and Doofy Doo at the Red Muesum

It’s simple to say Poppet (aka Molly Raney) gave an amazing live performance at The Red Museum in Sacramento earlier this month. But it was so much more. In the show, which was in support of her new album, Mirror Age, Poppet brought together sounds of baroque/opera pop and mixed it with interpretive dance. The way she danced fluidly to beautiful, vivid sounds she produced made it more like an art piece than a concert.

Also playing were local favorite electronic artist Doofy Doo, and making his live debut, opening electronic artist Makebelief. The three acts created wonderful and experimental electronic sound experience that night.
