Tuesday, October 3, Harlows Night Club and Abstract Entertainment Presented the Americana stylings of The Brothers Comatose, The Lil’ Smokies and Mipso on the Campfire Caravan Tour. The Campfire Caravan Tour is just starting a US tour with upcoming California dates in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The tours nightly goal is to eliminate the traditional format with no headliner or setlist but to allow the bands to change sets while encouraging spontaneous collaboration on stage. Every show on the Campfire Caravan Tour is sure to be different from the last. The tour finishes up in the Carolinas finest bluegrass haven, Asheville. The Brothers Comatose hail from San Francisco, California and include brothers Ben Morrison (guitar, vocals) and Alex Morrison (banjo, vocals), Gio Benedetti (bass, vocals), Philip Brezina (violin), and Ryan Avellone (mandolin).
Missoula Montana’s The Lil’ Smokies are Andy Dinnigan (dobro, vocals), Scott Parker (upright bass), Matt Cornette (banjo), Jake Simpson (fiddle) and Matt Rieger (guitar).
Miso comes to Sacramento from Chapel Hill, North Carolina and are formed by Jacob Sharp (mandolin, vocals), Wood Robinson (bass, vocals), Joseph Terrell (guitar, vocals), and Libby Rodenbough (fiddle, vocals)
