See You At Aftershock.

Aftershock is an annual festival that started as a one-day concert back in 2012 and has now expanded into a two-day festival that draws people in by the thousands. This year Aftershock turns six and is pulling some huge name acts like Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and Ozzy Osbourne. The countdown is on with only 18 more days to go until it takes over Discovery Park right here in Sacramento CA, October 21st and 22nd. It’s said to be California’s biggest and most anticipated rock festival. Check out what we had to say about it last year here.

Tips and tricks

Wear comfy clothing and shoes. What that means is up to you, but you’ll be walking around alot throughout the two days. I would highly suggest closed-toe flat shoes to protect those toes!

Stay hydrated. It gets hot when you’re in this big of a crowd, and you can easily forget to drink enough when you’re having fun. You can take one factory-sealed bottle of water in (20 oz. max size).

If you get tired and need a boost of caffeine, there’s normally a Monster Energy area where you can get some free Monster drinks.

Bring some cash or your debit card. There’s always merch, food, drinks, and more!

Most importantly, be mindful of the people around you, and have a blast.
