Across the world, thousands of people gathered on Saturday, January 21, 2017, for the Woman’s March; a day of activism promoting both woman and human rights.  The Sacramento event was one of 643 marches across the globe held for those who were unable to make it to Washington D.C. or that wanted to protest in their own city.  Police estimated more than 20,000 people met on the Sacramento capital steps, including Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg, for a peaceful protest.  We reached out to some local folks to see the march through their eyes.  Big thanks to Allyson Seconds, Anica Terbijhe, Dan Tyree, Joey Miller, Kalie Benson, Paige Lettington, Rachel Harcort, and Sarah Marie Hawkins for sharing their experience with us.
