Grab a flashlight and head down to Locke for a guided historical ghost tour. Tour is hosted by Ghost Hunting & Paranormal Research USA. Check-in is at Lockport Grill & Fountain (13959 Main St, Walnut Grove, CA 95690). Tour starts 7:00 and cost 20 bucks.
Go hang with DJ Larry at the Press Club on Sunday night for an ol’ fashion booty shaken’, hair whipping, lose your mind good time. Soul, funk, disco… the party starts at 9:00 and is free. Press Club is located on 21st and P Streets in Midtown Sacramento.
Pop over to Beatnik Studios Wednesday June 29th for an open discussion about Sacramento’s arts scene. Bryan Valenzuela (local artist), Seumas Coutts ( M5 Arts), Gioia Fonda (local artist), Barbara Range (Brickhouse Art Gallery), and Shelly Willis (director of the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission) will talk about Sacramento’s future in the arts as well as answer questions from the audience.
