Free Movies at the West Wind Sacramento Drive In

On Thursday, April 28, starting at 6 PM, the West Wind Sacramento Drive-In Theaters (9616 Oates Dr) will be holding a Free Movie Night! This is their 22nd time around showing free movies, and they’re as prepared as ever with fun activities like music, games, face painting, and bouncy houses. Movies (Kung Fu Panda 2, Daddy’s Home, The Good Dinosaur, Ride Along 2) begin at 8! More info here.

Beachy tunes with some cool dudes. On Friday, April 29, with doors at 7 PM, Animals in the Attic, Pierce and the Gals, Los Bottom Feeders, and The Seters are playing at Cafe Colonial (3520 Stockton Blvd). This event is presented by Born and Dazed, a local music and art collective. Find more here.

Dead Dads, Moonraker, Computer Class, and Rebel Radio at The Colony

Out of town bands for an out of this world gig. On Saturday, April 30, with doors at 8 PM, Dead Dads, Moonraker (Southern California), Computer Class (Oakland), and Rebel Radio are playing at The Colony (3512 Stockton Blvd). A night of thrashy guitar riffs and indisputable California charm. $6-10 sliding scale cover. Find info here.

TUBE. Presents: Duke Chevalier, Sunmonks, and Deep Pools at Panama Art Factory

Hey, that’s us! On Saturday, April 30, from 8 PM to 11 PM, Duke Chevalier, Sunmonks, and Deep Pools will be putting on a TUBE presented show at the Panama Art Factory (4421 24th St). Duke Chevalier is celebrating the release of Ace of Swords. Sunmonks and Deep Pools will be putting on an awesome show as well! $8 cover, all ages. Find more info here.

Los Monjo, Ruleta Rusa, Exkizofrenia, and Escapement at Cafe Colonial

Thought out of town bands were cool? Try out of country. On Monday, May 2, with doors at 7 PM, Los Monjo, Ruleta Rusa, Exkizofrenia, and Escapement will be playing at Cafe Colonial (3520 Stockton Blvd), presented by F.Y.B.S Records. Los Monjo is traveling all the way from Guadalajara, Mexico, to rock your Sacramento socks off. Ruleta Rusa and Exkizofrenia are traveling as well, from San Francisco and Portland. $10 cover to support touring bands. Find more here.
