Shark Toys

Quirk rock is the only description fully fit for the pop punk band, Shark Toys. Their fluid and loud beats provided by the bass and drums are spiced up with strange synth and guitar, topped by the lead singer’s abrasive but melodic voice. Shark Toys is notorious for weird and rough sets. However, they’ve incorporated more piano and synth within their newest album, Outsider Sect.

The band debuted three years ago with their self-titled LP. Now Shark Toys has announced their newest album, Outsider Sect, and are gearing up to drop it April 4th. To that end they have just recently a single off the album, ‘Something Something Else.’ ‘Something Something Else’ gives light to the more refined style Shark Toys has conjured. Compared to their older music, ‘Something Something Else’ shows a more fun sound, with incorporations of prominent piano and vocals. Listen below.
