Sacramento has been a frontrunner for loving the genre of pop; from pop punk to beach pop to chill pop, it has always been a genre that people can bend for their own liking. The Bottom Feeders, Ian Kashani, Animals In The Attic show at Shine captured the enjoyment of pop in full force. The show was full of beachy guitars, creamy bass, and drum lines so clean you could cook on them. Los Bottom Feeders, Ian Kashani, and Animals in the Attic gave pop the best justice around.
The Bottom Feeders, local beach moody pop, showcased Growlers-esque crisp guitar strumming and open bass chords with the amount of energy to chill you out and demand your attention simultaneously. Ian Kashani, from the Bay Area, played some easy listening 60’s style retro pop, gradually getting heavier throughout the night. Finishing off the night, Animals in the Attic played relaxed beachy pop, smooth enough to kill.
