Southern rockers Seratones’ music recalls the wild psychedelia of the seventies. The band gives it their own unique twenty-first century twist though, making their songs fresh and interesting. The Shreveport, LA foursome is releasing their new 7-inch single “Necromancer”/ “Take It Easy” next week through Fat Possum Records.
“Necromancer” grabs the listener by the ear and takes them on a rollicking journey through powerful vocals and fast paced instrumentation. Check it out below:
The B-side “Take It Easy” is fittingly slower and more intimate, the hypnotic background vocals reminiscent of Ty Segall. Listen below:
Seratones are also touring, so if you happen to be in the Eastern half of the US, you could get a chance to see them live.
