Chalk It Up was a hit again this year celebrating its 25th year in Sacramento. Large crowds walked the perimeter of Fremont Park to watch artists create diverse pieces. Children sprawled along the crowded sidewalks creating fun works in vivid colors. Bands kept the crowd moving and entertained throughout the three-day festival.
The festival was first established in 1991 as an annual Arts & Music Festival. It funds grants and scholarships for youth art programs in the city. Learn more about the festival here.
