The Thunder Valley Summer Concert Series has begun. This year’s series features a wide variety of entertainment including: Peter Frampton, Willie Nelson, ZZ Top, Boys II Men, and George Lopez among many other headlining acts. TUBE. was lucky enough to attend the second week of the Summer Concert Series featuring 311 with special guests Pepper. It was 102 degrees when Pepper took the stage but that didn’t stop them from bringing the party vibes to Thunder Valley. And finally celebrating their 25 year as a band, 311 took the stage before a full amphitheater ready to get down.

311 consists of Nick Hexum (vocal/guitar), S.A Martinez (vocal), Tim Mahoney (guitar), P-Nut (bass) and Chad Sexton (drums).  The rock-reggae band formed in Omaha, Nebraska in 1990 and has been on the move ever since.  After years of consistent touring, 311 has a major following and they continue to fill amphitheaters from coast to coast.  They have sold over 9 million albums in the United States and nine of their albums have hit the Top 10 on Billboard’s Sales Chart.  Surely the band is not slowing down anytime soon, 311 released their eleventh studio album titled STEREOLITHIC in March of 2014.
