Over Memorial Day weekend, TUBE. had the opportunity to drop anchor at the inaugural First Festival in West Sacramento’s River Walk Park. The festival featured 18 local bands on three stages. The Main Stage was lined up with bands like Whiskey & Stitches, D.U.S.T., A Mile Till Dawn, and Humble Wolf. The Yelp Stage featured Rebel Radio, Drop Dead Red, and Stationary. The RawTV Stage featured Sydney Jones, Merdog, Be Brave Bold Robot, and more. Onlookers took a cozy seat on the lawn or watched the performances from the shade of the huge oak trees.
There was no shortage of food trucks, beer, mixed drinks, and even alcoholic root beer. Vendor booths included an array of handmade goods like clothing, jewelry, accessories, and local arts and crafts. First Festival showcased great local musicians, artists, performers, and small businesses, which TUBE. loves. Hopefully First Festival comes around second time.
