Each year TUBE. puts together a show titled The Circus. Freaks, Geeks and Things You Can’t Unsee. We collect local performers throughout Sacramento CA for a killer variety show full of freakish talents which is hosted by one of our favorite guys in town comedian Johnny Taylor. We hang art from local artist, play games, have a little costume contest and then end the night with live music. It is really a great time.
This year visual artist included Danielle Driscoll, Lauren Margaux, Sarah Jane Hammontree, Jenn Bear, Mark Fox, Sara Adams, Sarah Elliott, Autumn Brown, Marissa Squeeky Goldberg, and Jenn Ponci. Live models and Circus patrons were painted by body artist by Rachel Harcourt and Rachel Gomez read tarot cards throughout the night.
Johnny Taylor warmed up the crowd before songbird Genevieve Bradbury Bohan kicked off the variety portion of the evening, followed by burlesque troop The Sizzling Sirens, strong woman Allyson Seconds and Friends, yoga acrobats Partner Play, juggler Ruben Peña, and accordionist Julie the Bruce. The FreeBadge Serenaders, Sour Mash Hug Band, and GTM brought the night to a musical close.
