A Los Angeles band that’s become arguably as famous for their collection of whimsical music videos as their indie-pop sound will be at Sacramento’s Assembly Music Hall Tuesday, July 15.
OK Go, a 16-year-old band that started in Chicago, has a sound and presence that has grown since their self-titled premiere album released in 2002. Their newest video, a one-take visual splendor of optical illusions for the song The Writing’s On the Wall was released less than a month ago and already has over 9 million views.
The four-piece band released a free four-song sampler EP called Upside Out in advance of their first full studio album in four years, Hungry Ghosts, set to release in October.
