White Lies are a British post-punk band, featuring smooth, dark melodies and accents made for swooning over. The group has a talent for creating imagery with music, sweeping the listener out into space with one piece and deep into his or her own mind in the next. White Lies’ brooding, hypnotic tones are perfect for post-break up blues or just for a day hanging out in sweats.
White Lies are hitting the Bay Area next week to promote their latest album Big TV, which hit #2 on the UK Album Charts. Come see them live on April 16 at The Parish in Oakland. Until then, here is a little taste you can listen to and even download.
