Quilt’s stunning new record, Held in Splendor, is out January 28th on Mexican Summer, and the band have already shared two very contrasting glimpses into the album. The first was the lush and languid “Arctic Shark,” sung by Anna Fox Rochinski. The second was the fuzzed-out rocker “Tired & Buttered,” sung by Shane Butler. Now, we’re very excited to share with you the centerpiece of the record, the gorgeous “Tie Up The Tides”. Fox Rochinski sings “Oh child, you keep living that way, in your own time,” offering us an intimate glimpse into the collective search for comfort and home. “Tides” sees the band reflecting on change, longing, forward motion, love, and finding one’s footing after a situation pushes you away from what you’ve known.
Quilt embarks on their national tour this February, don’t miss your chance to see them live!
