Looking for an awesome way celebrate St. Paddy’s Day?

Why not get head to-toe-covered in neon paint powder, burn some calories, support a great cause, and finish up with live music and green beer?

If this sounds good to you, then come on out this St. Patrick’s Day to support the Save the Fair benefit fun-run for the Placer County Fair Association.

Gnarly Neon is travelling across the West Coast to benefit local charities. This year’s (untimed) race will be held in Roseville at the Placer County Fairgrounds on March 17, 2013 to raise money for Placer County Fair Programs.

The Gnarly Neon 5k Color Run Series is inspired by The Color Run. Gnarly Neon is kicking up the fun by adding DJs, live bands, and other surprise features. (By the way – 5K is only like 3 miles!)

DJ Mack Morris will get the party started at 10am when runners, walkers, skippers, and hoppers will leave every 15 minutes. The course will begin on a certified NASCAR racetrack before winding its way through the Race Pits and the Fairgrounds.

Runners will rock out to awesome beats throughout the day while getting showered in colorful chaos throughout the course. Gnarly Neon sunglasses will be handed out to all participants prior to the run, and crazy costumes are encouraged! Otherwise – wear white so you’ll look extra amazing when being “color bombed”.

The party will continue across the finish line at the Coors Light Beer Garden where Apple Z will be rocking out. Food and neon green beer will be available for purchase.

Registering for a race is easy. Visit http://www.eventbrite.com/event/5186043596#
